OUR HISTORY

Sotexpro is a French manufacturer of non-flammable (M1) decorative furnishing fabrics.

Since 1973, the development of our collections has combined style with technical prowess. With its Art Department and field team, Sotexpro is the ideal partner to help your business stand out on your markets.

From thread to custom finished products, Sotexpro incorporates all of the expertise needed to make your textile projects become a reality, with no minimum order size and solutions to fit any budget.
Widely known under the CROCFEU brand, which the company created, SOTEXPRO has been given a new lease of life. As the undisputed leader in flame retardant M1-classified fabric and “blackout” fabrics, SOTEXPRO is expanding its offer in response to changing markets.
This is also reflected in their communications materials (new logo, new brand signature, new website, etc.). SOTEXPRO is revealing its ability to offer a range of high-performance textile solutions dedicated to professionals, whether they be architects or distributors.
To do this, SOTEXPRO relies on a combination of expert techniques and knowledge unique in France, such as:
– extra-wide Jacquard weaving
– large-format digital sublimation printing: fine lines and advanced colour research
manufacturing

What about CROCFEU?

CROCFEU, which has become a household name for M1-rated flame retardant fabrics, remains SOTEXPRO’s historic trademark. While CROCFEU is still the reference for many of our customers, we are evolving to meet the latest decorative trends in upholstery fabrics and strengthened regulations in the construction sector (researching thermal and soundproofing properties, etc.).
SOTEXPRO is now certified by France Terre Textile®, establishing the company’s desire to maintain its business locally in France.

“Sotexpro will soon celebrate its 50th anniversary. When I took over the business from my uncle, I was aware of the heritage that had been passed on to me. I have always taken a keen interest in perpetuating the expertise of the textile sector in France”.
